After a couple pretty bad falls,I finally broke the 30 MPH barrier on July 8, 2008. On July 9, 2009 I tried again and reached my fistest speed ever on a level stretch, 32.560 MPH.
I took this photo on August 15, 2008 at 8:49am, the time and date of my birth (I always shave before my birthday). My mother took more of photos of herself as she grow older, explaining to me that she hoped she would have a decent and recent photo whenever she finally passed.
... So self portraits are for me, less about ego or narcissism, than they are my providing loved ones eyes to look into after I'm gone, and an exploration into photography and portraiture.
