This was the first test of the patio and garden setting I built this Spring. The event was supposed to be a surprise, and while I got wind of it a few days earlier, I was really surprise at what BeYonne and Thedra put together!
Being a surprise, Thedra and BeYonne couldn't ask me the phone numbers of guests, so while they invited a ton of family, friends and neighbors, we'll have to do another event to include others who either weren't invited or were traveling on the Memorial Day weekend. So the Dorsey's made it, but none of the HOA members came.
I was the party-ee, so I wasn't really working the photography thing consistently, but in addition to Anthony and his family, I get a good photo of the Melvin Crew.
Mrs. Lewis and sundry co-conspirators work two grills to extraordinary effect; and this in addition to an exquisite "rib section."
The 2004 MS CIS Cohort, an really cool group. From top left, Gary, me, Arch, Dustin, Jamie and Greg. Seated are Mrs. Martin, accepting for Jerry who was in Iraq, Kelly and Chris. We lost a few who will finish in the next few semesters. Thanks troopers for making the experience real!
I appreciated everyone in the cohort, but special thanks to Chris and Doug for opening their home to me first semester.
...and I have to include this picure of Gary with his son, very special day for these guys.
With BeYonne, Thedra and my in-laws who are the coolest, most supportive people in the world. We had a ball!
Cave Art! We stayed in Branson, MO for a few days and among other things visited a cave and went up an "Inpsirational Tower."
Then there was the graduation/house warming party back in Maryland!
